E-cigarettes and Youth Vaping: What Nevada parents need to know in 2022
(Join the same webinar for either English or Spanish. Vea la página en español aquí).
This school year, youth vaping is as big an issue as ever, especially given growing mental health challenges for our kids. Behind the bright colors and sweet flavors of e-cigarettes are harmful chemicals and nicotine addiction. Join PAVe for everything parents, caretakers, teachers, and any adults who work with youth, need to know to help kids avoid or quit using dangerous flavored e-cigarettes.
This is the first in a series of three Nevada parent webinars by PAVe this spring, with the support of Washoe County Health District, in partnership with the National Hispanic Medical Association, the Nevada Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Carson City Health and Human Services and the Nevada Division of Public and Behavioral Health. All webinars presented in English and Spanish, with interpretation for American Sign Language. Future webinars in April and May will involve leading clinicians from Nevada for "Ask the Expert"-style fireside chats for parents and caretakers.
Submit your own question for our team as you RSVP.
This FREE virtual event will be hosted on Zoom. We will have a main room and breakout for English and Spanish. Please check your spam folder if you don't see call info in your inbox.
